What does it mean to be an engaged leader? What does change look like at the micro- and macro- levels?  How can each of us work for change within our respective communities and across the United States and the world? The annual SEA Changemakers Tour will give students from across the country the opportunity to explore these questions during a nine-day program that begins in New York City, transitions to Philadelphia, and culminates in Washington, DC.

The Tour will inspire students from all 20 U.S. member programs to see pathways to change within their communities; to recognize public service as the foundation for change; and to become agents of change in their own right. This trip will include numerous activities designed to empower youth to become active changemakers. Highlights of previous Tours include meetings with U.S. Senators Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Tim Scott, Congressmen Elijah Cummings and John Lewis, Vice President Kamala Harris, Former Governor Deval Patrick, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, and Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan.
