Event Details
Hosted by US Squash at the Denver Athletic Club, highlights from the last two years included a pro-am with local doubles players, a trip to the Air Force Academy and US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs as well as a trip to the University of Boulder and hike in the Colorado Mountains. Students took a a white water rafting trip in 2014 which was a huge success and will be repeated again this year. Colorado Governor Hickenlooper is an avid doubles player and will again get in court with several of the students. The week will end with a boys, girls and mixed doubles tournament to crown the 2015 U.S. Urban Squash Doubles Champions in the Boys, Girls and Mixed divisions.

Participants
Rising 11th and 12 graders

Selection Criteria and Process
Nominations, including students’ names, birthdays, and grade level should be emailed to Preston Quick and Sage Ramadge. We ask that students’ squash ability to be among the highest caliber and hardest working players, given the unique demands of squash doubles and the goals of the event

Travel
Programs are responsible for arranging travel to Denver. U.S. Squash and NUSEA will provide a credit of $100 per person for travel expenses.  Please book flights so that students will arrive by 12pm on Monday 8/3 and leave no earlier than 5pm on Friday 8/7.

Lodging
Students will be billeted locally and all meals will be taken care of by the local squash community in Denver.

NUSEA Rules of Play

Sportsmanship – High level of sportsmanship is expected of all players.
Eye-wear – All players must wear the proper protective eye-wear during matches. Players will not be permitted to wear prescription eyeglasses on court. Programs will need to provide i-masks or other protective eye-wear.
Uniforms – All players must wear their respective program’s uniforms.
