From February 7-9, SEA brought together 442 elementary, middle and high school students from 21 programs to compete at the 21st SEA Team Nationals at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. Over three days of competition, 87 five-player teams faced off in SEA’s flagship tournament. Players proudly represented their programs, showcasing their dedication and team spirit while cheering each other on.

The weekend featured intense matches, an academic ceremony, and inspiring remarks from Jose Fernandez, CitySquash alum and current Squash Coordinator at Steel City Squash. It was a true celebration of the SEA community and the growth of squash as a more inclusive and accessible sport.

CitySquash’s High School Girls and StreetSquash’s High School Boys teams secured their fourth consecutive championship titles, an extraordinary achievement that underscores their sustained excellence and commitment.

 “Our team’s four-peat at Nationals is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and heart our players bring every day,” said Assistant Director of Squash and CitySquash alum Will Pantle. “As a proud alum of the program and someone who competed in these tournaments, it’s incredible to see them carry forward CitySquash’s winning tradition.”

“Becoming four-time national champions is truly special,“said StreetSquash student Thomas Overton. “It was not easy; every practice, every match, and every challenge led to this moment. Being part of a team that made history and continues to raise the bar for StreetSquash and SEA means the world to us. This program has shaped us in ways beyond just squash, and we couldn’t be prouder.”

Other highlights include Houston’s Mission Success showcasing its strength by claiming championships in both the High School Boys II and Middle School Boys I divisions. This year also had an Elementary School Boys Division, with six teams competing, and Chicago’s MetroSquash emerging as champions. Oakland’s SquashDrive made a strong impact as well, advancing to the finals in two divisions, further highlighting the impressive depth and resilience of their program.
