College + Alumni Support

In the last 20 years, SEA has sent over 650 students from its partner programs to college. SEA collaborates with programs to provide national support to high school graduates through college and beyond.

College Peer-Mentoring
SEA’s peer-mentoring program, called Campus Connections, provides on-campus mentoring for first-year urban squash students  by older urban squash alumni. Through monthly meetings, mentors support and advise their mentees as they adjust to college life.

Internship Placement
SEA’s Career Connections program is an internship placement initiative that matches paid summer internships to high-achieving college students from our network of member programs. Partners include ABC News, Teach for America, US Squash, NBC Universal, Exeter Summer School, Princeton Squash Camp, the Environmental Defense Fund, Simon & Schuster, Johnnie-O Clothing, and Williams Squash and Beyond Camp.

Alumni Networking
SEA hosts regional gatherings for its alumni at each program with graduated students. Hit-arounds provide a great opportunity for a casual reunion based around the sport that once inspired each student to join their program.

SEA hosts a national tournament for all alumni each August. The tournament rotates between the founding SEA cities, Boston and New York.
